My professional focus these days is on my thriving downtown massage practice. An awful lot of my energy is also going to African and African-inspired drum and dance as well as musical improvisation. Personal Interests
Publishing and Marketing BackgroundI started marketing online in 1989, browsing the web before it existed (I found an HTML document at the CERN WAIS site several months before the first web browser was created), building web sites in 1994, managing web development and internet marketing programs programs in 1996, and practicing search engine optimization in 1998. One hightlight of my early internet days was being called a "marketing guru" by internet business pioneer Mark Welch. Before my internet career I worked for a dozen years in college textbook publishing as an editor, product-line manager, marketing manager, and field sales rep.
