I am a graduate of the Brian Utting School of Massage (a rigorous 1,000-hour+ (1,000 instructional hours plus 300 audited outside practice hours) professional licensing program), a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Over the past ten years, I have completed over 600 hours of continuing education, and I study bodywork and anatomy and physiology on my own every day. I am currently focusing on further developing my orthopedic massage skills. I also publish Bodywork U, a directory of massage continuing education classes and massage school programs.
